Job summary

Select Medical Georgetown is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front desk operations and patient flow in our outpatient PT center. This full-time FLOAT position travels between teams across the greater Georgetown area, starting at $16/hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus, and requires reliable transportation.

Expect weekday schedules and a focus on delivering an exceptional patient experience from check-in to checkout.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience.
• Insurance verification experience beneficial.
• 1 year medical office experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and upcoming appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Coordinate with attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, and center leadership.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance authorizations and verifications.
