Job summary

FiveStar seeks a Floating Food Service Manager who partners with the on-site General Manager to plan, supervise, and manage operations in the food service area. You will oversee customer service, merchandising, sanitation, training, and safety, ensuring policies are followed across shifts.

You will communicate with General Managers on promotions, manage inventory and production guides, and help train staff to uphold company standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of food service experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of food service equipment.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and excellent time management.
• Team player, customer focused, honest, hardworking and excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in Customer Service Representative responsibilities.
• Partner with management to ensure FiveStar customer service in the food service area as outlined in company policies and procedures.
• Stay up to date with health and food safety regulations (sanitation, storage, rotation, temperatures, etc.).
• Follow company policies on inventory control, ordering, food quality, equipment maintenance, and production guides for food preparation.
• Communicate with General Managers on emails, weekly and monthly specials, and company-wide programs.
• Responsible for merchandising including signage, pricing, freshness, and presentation of products.
• Promote company food service sales promotions.
• Collaborate with General Manager to train and supervise staff in food service responsibilities.
