Job summary

The Oregon Judicial Department is seeking a filled Courtroom Clerk (Floating Family Law Judicial Clerk) to support multiple judges across courtrooms. You will perform clerical duties, swear witnesses, log events, prepare orders, and maintain case records in the electronic system.

Responsibilities

• Swear in witnesses and handle proceedings; record, log, and manage court documents.
• Prepare orders and judgments; verify pleadings for accuracy and completeness.
• Update electronic case management system; verify warrant status.
• Schedule hearings, coordinate calendars, and assist judges in chambers.
• Provide information about court policies to attorneys, litigants, and the public.
