Job summary

RHA Health Services in Statesville, NC seeks a Float Pool Direct Support Professional (Regular) to support multiple units, fill vacancies, and assist individuals with disabilities in the community. You will help translate requests into supports and implement plans with a person-centered approach.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, with 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts and a schedule that includes weekend work. This temporary role involves required training, licensure maintenance, and periodic competency

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct caregiving experience in an IDD setting.
• Must maintain required training and competency checklists.
• Keep licensure, certifications and CPR current.
• Complete annual unit competencies as due.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in identifying and communicating requests and needs.
• Implement services and supports per each person’s Centered Plan.
• Work under direction and supervision to deliver quality care.
