Job summary

M&T Bank is hiring for a Float Universal Banker at our York, PA branches. You will educate customers on Consumer and Business Banking solutions, promote digital tools, and engage with customers to identify needs and opportunities.

Travel between branches within the area is common to support staff and customers. You will handle servicing tasks, guide customers through loan criteria, and uphold AML/KYC processes while delivering a differentiated, customer-centric experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; minimum 1 year retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience.
• Ability to travel between branches as needed; strong verbal and interpersonal skills; capable of handling difficult customer conversations.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers and explain features and benefits of Consumer and Business Banking solutions.
• Engage customers to bank with us and promote digital capabilities.
• Explain loan application criteria and assist with servicing responsibilities for customer relationships.
• Follow the bank's sales process and provide customer-focused guidance.
• Proactively reach out to retain and expand Consumer and Business Banking relationships.
