Avenue5 Residential in Houston is seeking a Floating Assistant Property Manager to assist the property manager with operational oversight, lease administration, and ensuring a positive resident experience.

Two to three years of property management experience are required; a real estate license is preferred. Proficiency with MS Office and Yardi Voyager is expected, along with a valid driver’s license for on-site duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Two to three years of property management experience.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities.
• Real estate license preferred or required in some locations.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager with day-to-day property operations and resident satisfaction.
• Maintain accounts receivable, rent postings, deposits, and rent roll.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Process evictions, lease renewals, and move-ins/outs.
• Audit lease agreements and resident files for accuracy.
• Support training of staff in leasing, marketing, and office operations.
• Respond to resident relations and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety rules.
