Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is seeking a Floating Assistant General Manager to assist the Local General Manager. You will help maintain budgets, ensure client expectations, and lead safety, sanitation, and staff development across multiple airport locations.

You will foster strong interdepartmental relations and coordinate dining services with facility plans, while traveling to SFO, DEN, EWR and ORD as needed. Strong leadership and HACCP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Five to seven years upscale food service experience, including one year management of multiple units.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong supervisory, scheduling, training and coaching abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 100% of the time.
• Ability to multi-task with interruptions and manage budgets and forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff in accordance with policies and laws.
• Hire, train and coach employees and managers.
• Lead meetings and training programs.
• Maintain food cost while ensuring quality standards.
• Oversee purchasing and inventory controls.
• Ensure HACCP compliance and proper food storage.
• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
