Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist - Floater in Lenexa, KS. This contract role requires drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing while maintaining patient trust and comfort.

Under supervision, you will verify demographics, manage labeling, and maintain records. The position supports multiple sites, requires flexibility, and offers OT eligibility with a 3-month contract term.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training preferred for clinical support.
• Phlebotomy certification is required in CA, NV & WA; otherwise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily phlebotomy and related processing tasks as directed.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during blood draws.
• Verify patient demographics and specimen labeling accuracy.
• Keep accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Demonstrate a professional image and patient confidentiality.
• Support multiple locations as needed by scheduling and absences.
