Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a skilled Floater Phlebotomist to support a medical facility in Lenexa, KS. This 3-month contract may extend or convert, with a first-shift schedule and W2 pay of $23.10–$24.75 per hour.

The role involves blood draws, specimen collection, labeling, and processing, plus troubleshooting and workflow improvement. Travel within a 30-mile radius is possible with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Five years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing following procedures.
• Provides care across multiple locations and roles, ensuring timely patient service center operations.
• Acts as a coach/mentor and onboarding resource for new staff and clients on site.
• Communicates procedures clearly to patients and maintains accurate patient information.
• Manages multiple priorities in a high-volume setting and supports workflow improvements.
