Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float Casual to join our team in Overland Park, KS and surrounding areas. This is a casual/PRN position with hours varying from 7am to 6pm, with travel to additional sites as needed.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, plus handle data entry and specimen preparation for testing, while delivering excellent patient service and ensuring accurate records.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
