CenterWell Pharmacy, part of Humana, seeks a Floater Pharmacist to provide safe, accurate pharmacy services across Las Vegas and Pahrump locations. This in-clinic role delivers clinical services, ensures continuity of operations, and supports a patient-centered care model.

The role requires Nevada licensure, PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy, immunizer certification, and ability to travel between two sites. Compensation includes a substantial pay range and benefits; schedule is on-demand, not full-time.

Qualificações

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in Nevada.
• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication management, and immunization practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Flexibility to travel and work across multiple pharmacy locations (2 locations).
• Must be a certified Immunizer.
• Proficiency with general software technology such as MS Office Suite, learn new systems and platforms.
• This role is part of Humana’s TB screening program and requires TB screening.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately review, verify, and dispense prescription medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, adherence, and disease state management.
• Administer immunizations and other pharmacist-provided clinical services as permitted by state law and company policy.
• Identify and resolve medication-related issues, including drug interactions, dosing concerns, and therapeutic duplications.
• Support MTM programs and other population health initiatives.
• Maintain safe, efficient, and compliant pharmacy operations across assigned locations.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, accreditation standards, and pharmacy regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory management activities, including controlled substance compliance.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Assist with workflow management to meet prescription volume and service-level expectations.
• Supervise, coach, and support pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Foster a collaborative, customer-focused workplace culture.
• Partner with physicians, healthcare providers, and care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Serve as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and quality patient care.
• Travel to designated pharmacy locations within the assigned market to provide pharmacist coverage.
• Adapt quickly to varying store environments, patient populations, and operational needs.
• Support business continuity during vacations, leaves of absence, staffing shortages, and peak business periods.
