Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Float Pharmacist to support on-site pharmacies in the Phoenix metro area. You will dispense prescriptions, provide medication information, and deliver a high level of customer service.

Required: BS Pharmacy or PharmD, AZ pharmacist license, immunization certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months), and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• BS Pharmacy or PharmD is required.
• Immunization Certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Current pharmacist's license in AZ.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
