Clarios in Canby, Oregon, seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor (Floater) to lead frontline teams across shifts and lines. You will rotate to cover vacancies, support new launches, and manage daily shift execution for 15–20 unionized workers, focusing on safety, targets, staffing, and performance on the shop floor.

The role offers strong visibility within Clarios’ Canby plant, with clear pathways to Area Manager, Superintendent, Plant Manager, and other senior operations roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work overnight hours and manage third‑shift operations as needed.

Responsabilités

• Train production team members to perform work safely, efficiently, and in alignment with plant standards and union agreements.
• Build strong employee relationships through coaching, fair application of policies, and collaboration with union representatives.
• Manage shift staffing to meet production goals, and support cross-functional team operations.
• Review team performance, facilitate improvement discussions, and align contributions with plant objectives.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Oversee machine and equipment maintenance coordination within your area, coordinating with on‑call maintenance support.
• Track and report KPIs including scrap, output per person/hour, and production efficiency metrics.
• Investigate material variances and recommend improvements.
• Encourage team‑driven ideas for process, equipment, and quality enhancements.
