Job summary

Clarios in Canby, OR is seeking a Forklift Operator / Skilled Material Handler for swing shift. The role is full-time, union position with a starting wage and a clear, multi-step pay progression, and a 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm schedule with potential overtime and weekend work.

You will operate a sit-down forklift, move and stage materials, and maintain production schedule accuracy while following strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer, reading, writing and math skills.
• Ability to work daily overtime up to 12 hours and weekends as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work in an industrial environment.
• Ability to wear required PPE.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check, physical, drug screen, and employment eligibility verification

Forklift Operator / Skilled Material Handler - Swing Shift

Canby, OR | Full-Time | Union Position

Earn up to $27.22/hour within your first year, plus bonuses, overtime opportunities, and weekly pay.

Pay Progression Including Wage Progression And Shift Differential

• $21.50/hour starting rate
• $23.02/hour after 90 days
• $23.67/hour following the February 2027 contract increase
• $25.22/hour after 1 year

Skilled material handlers receive $1.00 premium at 6 months and $2.00 premium at 12 months

Additional Earnings

• Overtime opportunities

• $750 February 2027 retention bonus

Schedule

3:00 pm - 11:30 pm Monday - Friday, must be available to work daily overtime and weekends as needed.
