Job summary

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a Regional Medical Assistant Floater (CMA/RMA) to support advanced clinical workflows across Manatee and Sarasota counties. You will manage patient flow, assist with visit preparation, and ensure precise documentation in an ambulatory care setting.

The role requires CMA/RMA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 4–6 years of medical assistant experience. Travel between clinics is required, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 4–6 years of medical assistant or ambulatory care experience.
• CMA or RMA certification/registration required.
• Basic Life Support certification preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and care coordination tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient rooming, intake, and visit preparation workflows.
• Support complex clinic flow and coordinate procedure preparation.
• Perform point-of-care testing and clinical support tasks with accuracy.
• Review charts, care gaps, standing orders, and visit readiness for efficient encounters.
• Support quality improvement, workflow pilots, and documentation efforts.
• Provide guidance to newer staff on EHR workflows and site standards.
• Investigate non-routine clinical support issues affecting patient flow.
