Job summary

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a full-time Tampa Region Float Medical Assistant CMA/RMA to join our Primary Care team. Work Monday–Friday with paid holidays and a robust benefits package including PTO, health, dental, vision, and 401(k).

The ideal candidate will collect vitals, document medical histories, perform basic procedures, and support patients across our primary care offices. Proficiency with EMR systems (Athena preferred) and CPR/BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assisting Program or CMA/RMA Certification.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• All certifications must be current.

Responsibilities

• Collect vitals and patient histories.
• Administer diagnostic testing and assist in basic procedures.
• Enter data into the electronic health records and manage patient information.
• Provide excellent patient experience and support care team.
• Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires.

Seeking a full‑time Tampa Region Float Medical Assistant CMA/RMA. Are you ready to embark on a full medical career? Millennium Physician Group is seeking a talented Medical Assistant to join our esteemed Primary Care medical team. Monday – Friday hours, 7 paid holidays + 1 personal paid holiday. Impact & Responsibilities

As a Medical Assistant you will be directly involved in the care of our patients. You will be responsible for providing a top‑notch patient experience for every patient that walks into the office. This includes collecting vitals, medical histories, administering diagnostic testing, performing basic medical procedures, entering data in the electronic health records, and any other tasks required to give the best patient care.

New‑hire training is comprehensive and includes classroom instruction and hands‑on experience. You will be introduced to our electronic health record systems, referral processes, patient portal and everything you need to be a successful team member.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Completion of a Medical Assisting Program or valid Certification/Registration
• CPR/BLS certification
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
• All certifications (e.g., CMA, CPR, BLS) must be kept current

Required Skills and Abilities

To perform this job successfully an individual should have strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems; Athena knowledge preferred but not required. Physical demands include standing, walking, walking, climbing, and balancing; occasionally sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. The employee must frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
