Job summary

Wonderspring Havertown Center is seeking an Assistant Teacher Float to support multiple classrooms with older toddlers, preschool and kindergarten-age children. You will help maintain ratios, support daily routines and supervise children to ensure safety.

The role requires teamwork, flexibility, and adherence to childcare guidelines. Responsibilities include collaborating with lead teachers and keeping environments safe and organized at all times.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with children, infants, and toddlers preferred.
• Must obtain all required clearances and complete TB health screening prior to employment.
• Strong teamwork and flexibility.
• Basic knowledge of childcare rules.

Responsibilities

• Step into different classrooms to provide coverage and maintain ratios.
• Support daily routines and classroom activities.
• Provide active supervision at all times to keep children safe.
• Build relationships with children, families, co-workers and administrators.
• Follow lead teacher responsibilities and maintain safe, clean, organized environments.
