Job summary
American Family Care is seeking a Certified Physician Assistant to assess, diagnose, and treat patients in collaboration with a designated physician at our New Jersey location. Qualifications
- Must hold current PA licensure and be registered to practice.
- Experience in primary/urgent care is desirable.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with acute conditions in collaboration with a physician.
- Collaborate with physicians in the care of patients with chronic illnesses.
- Educate patients on preventive care and prescribed treatments.
- Maintain accurate medical records in the EMR system.
- Order diagnostic tests as appropriate.
- Prescribe medications within license scope.
- Promote preventive care and health maintenance.
