Job summary

New York Imaging (NYI) in Brooklyn is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specialized in Breast to join our diagnostic imaging team. You will perform screening, diagnostic breast exams, and procedures, and communicate findings to radiologists.

The role requires RDMS Breast, an accredited ultrasound program, and at least 2 years of experience. We offer comprehensive benefits, day-one health insurance, and a supportive environment committed to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (or equivalent).
• RDMS Breast certification required.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast exams (screening, diagnostic, and procedures)
• Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate findings to radiologists/cardiologists
• Ensure proper equipment maintenance and documentation
• Follow all radiology protocols and prioritize emergent cases
• Assist physicians with procedures and biopsies
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Ultrasound Technologist - Breast

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Hours/Shifts: 3/10 hour shifts, Mon,Tue,& Thu (between 7:30am-5:30pm)

Organization: New York Imaging (NYI)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform breast exams (screening, diagnostic, and procedures)
• Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate findings to radiologists/cardiologists
• Ensure proper equipment maintenance and documentation
• Follow all radiology protocols and prioritize emergent cases
• Assist physicians with procedures and biopsies
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
