Job summary

Texell Credit Union seeks a Float/Vault Teller to support multiple locations, with the home branch at our downtown Temple location. You will perform cash transactions, open/close vault, balance cash, and assist audits in a fast-paced environment.

Drive-thru hours may start as early as 7:30 AM and extend beyond 6:00 PM, with alternate Saturdays. Candidates should have prior cash handling and customer service experience and be able to travel between branches on short notice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Banking experience is a plus; ability to transport between branch locations on short notice.
• Able to stand for long periods and follow professional dress code.
• Availability for drive-thru hours and alternating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Perform cash transactions including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments and cash advances with precision.
• Open and close vault daily; balance vault; distribute cash to tellers as needed.
• Order cash, cards, checks, and supplies; assist with logs and audits.
• Replenish Cash Recycler, Automated Cash Dispenser, Coin Dispenser and ATMs as needed.
• Cross-sell Texell products and services to benefit members.
