Job summary

At Lake Michigan Credit Union in Kalamazoo, MI, a part-time Teller position is available on-site at the West Main Branch. You will deliver friendly, accurate service while handling a high volume of transactions and promoting LMCU products to members.

The role emphasizes fraud awareness, security, and maintaining strong member relationships to support branch growth and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience.
• Previous cash handling experience and knowledge of financial products and services preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive member experience leading to member retention through proactive engagement, building trusting relationships with members.
• Process teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing, check ordering, and wire requests.
• Balance cash drawer daily and ensure all cash is accounted for.
• Identify red flags for risk and fraud prevention and follow security protocols.
• Promote LMCU products and services to meet members' financial needs and goals.
