Job summary

Olympia Federal Savings seeks a Float Teller to provide prompt, courteous service while conducting teller transactions and answering inquiries about products and services in our Lacey, WA location.

You will process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and currency exchanges; balance the cash drawer; cross-sell bank products; and assist multiple branches as needed. Strong customer service and cash-handling skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Cash-handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Must be bondable.
• Bilingual English/Spanish beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform routine and non-routine transactions.
• Receive checks and cash deposits to accounts and enter deposits.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals after verification.
• Cross-sell Association products and services.
• Promote and explain products such as accounts, loans, CDs, money orders.
• Receive and record loan payments.
• Balance cash drawer daily and report discrepancies.
• Assist with ATM balancing and other duties as assigned.
• Redeem US Savings Bonds and handle stop payments as needed.
