Olympia Federal Savings seeks a Float Teller to deliver prompt, courteous service while efficiently handling teller transactions. You will receive deposits and withdrawals, verify details, and answer product queries.

The role requires excellent cash handling, strong customer service, and basic computer skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent skills.
• Cash-handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Must be bondable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform routine and non-routine teller transactions.
• Receive checks and cash deposits to accounts, verify amounts, examine checks for proper endorsement, and enter deposits to customers’ accounts.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals, after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Cross-sell Association products and services.
• Promote and explain Association products and services such as checking and savings accounts, loans, IRAs, certificates of deposit, safe deposit boxes, bank checks and money orders.
• Receive and accurately process loan payments.
• Balance cash drawer daily and report discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary.
