Job summary

Blaze Credit Union is hiring a Float Teller for the Woodbury West branch. As a Float Teller, you may assist at other metro branches, delivering friendly service and handling routine transactions.

We offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus for new hires, with larger bonuses for experienced candidates. The role requires strong cash handling, customer service experience, and a willingness to work a rotating schedule including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of cash handling experience; financial services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with members, listen to their needs, and understand situations.
• Educate members on Blaze services and solutions.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments with accuracy.
• Stay updated on financial products, services, and training opportunities.
• Provide excellent face-to-face service and assist teammates as needed.

Blaze is currently hiring for a Float Teller at our Woodbury West branch. As a Float Teller, you may be asked to step in and assist at other branches which includes all of our metro branches. At Blaze we focus on people, not profits. As a member of our team, you will be working with a diverse and experienced group of people dedicated to helping members meet all their financial needs. Blaze is pleased to offer a sign-on bonus for this position. New hires are eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus, paid over one year. Candidates with Fiserv DNA experience are eligible for a $5,500 sign-on bonus, paid over two years.

• Engage with our members, listen to them, and understand their situations

• Process transactions like deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments with accuracy and professionalism

Your Schedule:

• This position will be FT 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays. (Saturday paid 1.5x for hours worked).
• Consistent and reliable attendance is a required essential function of this role to meet the needs of the organization.

Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations. The salary range for this position is: $21.00 -$23.00/hour. This range reflects the base salary for this position. We have other benefits associated with this position which include: low-cost medical (as low as $20 a paycheck), dental insurance, vision insurance, quarterly bonuses, generous vacation and sick time hours, paid leave options, up to 6% 401k contribution, and tuition reimbursement.
