OMB Bank in the greater Springfield area is seeking a Float Teller full time to handle deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check issuance across multiple locations. Work locations will vary by staffing needs at different OMB branches in the Springfield region; the schedule typically runs 8:00 am–6:00 pm, Monday

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum three years of cash handling and customer service experience.
• One year in retail banking, including teller transactions and new accounts preferred.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work at multiple locations with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Process routine transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check issuance.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs).
• Resolve customer service issues and cross-sell bank products and services.
• Report to and work at multiple OMB locations across the greater Springfield area.

Job Summary

Work locations will vary based on staffing needs at multiple banking locations in the greater Springfield area.

Primary Location/Schedule:

• 3050 S Delaware Springfield, MO 65804
• Daily work assignments will be primarily Mount Vernon, Carthage, and Ash Grove area OMB locations, reliable transportation required
• Daily schedule will vary based on the banks operating hours
• 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm Saturday
• Full-time - approximately 40 hours per week

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to report to for work at multiple work sites throughout the day as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of three years of cash handling and customer service experience
• A minimum of one year in retail banking, including teller transactions and new accounts preferred
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills
• Strong mathematical, problem-solving and computer skills
• Effective multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Willingness to proactively cross-sell bank products & services
