SUMMARY: This position will fulfill the duties of a teller as described below by traveling as needed between multiple offices. This travel may include multiple locations within a single work day. Processes a variety of customer transactions at a teller window. Recognizes customer needs and recommends products, services, or assistance of other bank employees or departments to consistently deliver a superior level of customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operate and balance a terminal and cash drawer daily.
2. Accept and process transactions including savings, checking, Holiday Savings accounts, loan payments, SDB rental payments, tax deposits, money orders/official checks, and cash withdrawals.
3. Accept checks for cashing in accordance with bank procedures.
4. Have strong knowledge of bank products and services, recognize customer needs, and cross-sell bank products.
5. Participate in the bank's referral and incentive programs, utilizing applicable technology and programs to show results.
6. Work towards achieving personal and branch goals.
7. Complete all required training courses.
8. Be flexible and foster a teamwork-oriented work environment.
9. Assist vault teller with duties related to money shipments and orders.
10. Perform additional branch duties outside of transaction processing as needed.
11. Handle all cash, customer transactions, and information securely and in accordance with policies.
12. Make outbound sales calls to current and prospective clients.
13. Maintain flexibility in work schedules to meet staffing needs.
14. Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
15. Accept responsibilities and projects assigned by supervisors to add value.
16. Work effectively in a team environment.
17. Complete all mandatory and elective training, including BSA and Anti-Money Laundering procedures, maintaining compliance.
18. Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
19. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Note: Because this position requires travel with little or no advance notice, personal and reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Proven cash handling experience.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge; ability to use office equipment such as calculators, phones, fax machines.
• Customer service and/or sales experience at any level.
