Job description

SUMMARY: This position will fulfill the duties of a teller as described below by traveling as needed between multiple offices. This travel may include multiple locations within a single work day. Processes a variety of customer transactions at a teller window. Recognizes customer needs and recommends products, services, or assistance of other bank employees or departments to consistently deliver a superior level of customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Operate and balance a terminal and cash drawer daily
2. Accept and process transactions such as savings, checking, Holiday Savings accounts, loan payments, SDB rental payments, tax deposits, sell money orders/official checks, and cash withdrawals
3. Accept checks for cashing according to FNB check handling procedures
4. Have strong knowledge of bank products and services, recognize customer needs, and cross-sell bank products
5. Participate in the bank's referral and incentive programs, utilizing applicable technology and programs to show results
6. Work towards personal and branch set goals
7. Complete all required training courses
8. Be flexible and foster a teamwork-oriented work environment
9. Assist vault teller with duties related to money shipments and orders
10. Perform additional branch duties outside transaction processing as needed
11. Handle cash, customer transactions, and information securely, following FNB policies
12. Make outbound sales calls to current and prospective clients
13. Maintain flexibility with work schedules to meet branch staffing needs
14. Keep all customer information confidential to maintain trust and responsibility
15. Accept additional responsibilities and projects assigned by supervisors to add value
16. Work effectively in a team environment with coworkers and the public
17. Complete mandatory and elective training, including BSA and Anti-Money Laundering procedures, maintaining compliance with all regulations
18. Maintain regular and predictable attendance
19. Perform all other duties as assigned

Note: Due to the travel requirement with little or no notice, personal and reliable transportation is essential for this role.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

1. High School diploma or GED
2. Proven cash handling experience
3. Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment such as calculators, phones, fax machines
4. Customer service and/or sales experience at any level
