Umcelpaso seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care through the nursing process, coordinating care and collaborating with other professionals to achieve positive patient outcomes. You will apply established clinical standards while considering patient age and cultural diversity.
Required are Texas RN licensure, BLS; ACLS and NRP within six months; a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; and at least one year of hospital acute care experience. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Job Summary
Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization's vision and mission. Utilizes knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

Work Experience
One year of experience as a Registered Nurse is required, preferably in a hospital-based acute care setting.
License/Registration/Certification
Current and activelicense to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas is required.
Current BLS training is required.
Completion of the ACLS training is required to be completed within six months of being in the department.
Completion of the NRP training is required to be completed within six months of being in the department.
Education and Training
Bachelor degree in Nursing is required.
