University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC) seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care using the nursing process across assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
The role requires TX RN license, BLS, ACLS and NRP within six months, plus a BSN. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes in a hospital acute care setting.
Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization’s vision and mission. Utilizes knowledge of patient’s age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
One year of experience as a Registered Nurse is required, preferably in a hospital-based acute care setting.
Current and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas is required.
Current BLS training is required.
Completion of the ACLS training is required to be completed within six months of being in the department.
Completion of the NRP training is required to be completed within six months of being in the department.
Bachelor degree in Nursing is required.
