Job summary

BARNES-JEWISH HOSPITAL is seeking a Float Registered Nurse to join the Clinical Nurse Float Pool. You will float across 65+ inpatient units, delivering patient-centered care while maintaining high clinical standards.

This full-time, 12-hour night shift position offers a $15/hour float differential and opportunities for professional growth. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of acute care Medical-Surgical experience, current RN license, and strong clinical judgment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a variety of clinical settings
• ICU/Critical Care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards.
• Promotes patient and family centered care and educates on illness management and post-treatment home care.
• Participates in safety, quality and regulatory compliance activities and professional development.
• Develops and documents plans of care with defined goals and communicates across care continuum.
