Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the System Float pool in Detroit. The role focuses on providing high‑quality nursing care across diverse units, with flexible assignments and shift options.

Candidates should have an accredited nursing degree, Michigan RN licensure, and at least three years of experience. Expect to work day and night shifts, providing critical care coordination and documentation across locations within the system.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on assigned units and develop individualized care plans.
Perform comprehensive assessments and identify changes in patient condition.
Administer medications, wounds care, and postoperative nursing interventions.
Communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team for coordinated care.
Orient to different units and care protocols within the float pool.
Document assessments and interventions accurately and timely.
Collaborate with leadership to support quality improvement and safety standards.
Work assigned day and night shifts as scheduled.
