Job summary

Gillette Children’s is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 0.7 FTE Evening/Night role (M-F, 8-hour shifts) at the St. Paul Main Campus. The position offers weekend rotation and benefits, with cross-training into the PICU within 12–18 months.

• RN license active and nursing program completed.
• Current BLS certification; CPR required within one month if applicable.
• Willingness to work evenings/nights and weekends per schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across inpatient units as part of the Nursing Support Team.
• Cross-train into the PICU within 12 months of hire and complete within 18 months.
• Conduct assessments, develop evidence-based care plans, implement interventions, and communicate with patients, families and the care team.
• Practice autonomously while collaborating with diverse care teams and delegating appropriately.
