Job summary

Geode Health is hiring a Practice Assistant to float between Buffalo Grove, Glenview, Libertyville, Park Ridge, and Skokie offices. You will support front-office and clinical operations, manage schedules, assist providers, and help maintain efficient, patient-centered offices.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, accurate records, and compliant handling of payments and referrals, contributing to Geode Health’s mission to make mental healthcare accessible and effective.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of medical office or healthcare experience preferred.
• Comfortable with answering the phone and patient inquiries.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn new technology platforms quickly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the welcoming first contact for patients and deliver exceptional service.
• Manage daily schedules, confirmations, cancellations, and waitlists.
• Coordinate patient intake, referrals, and office communications.
• Collect payments and document co-pays and balances.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA procedures.
