Qualifications

• 2+ years of inpatient RN experience required
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing (IDFPR or applicable state board)

• BLS within 30 days, American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Implements procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
• Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care for the healthcare team.
• Completes initial patient assessments and develops plans of care.
• Implements and evaluates the care plan and nursing interventions.
• Ensures patient and employee safety; reports hazards and incidents.
• Communicates with team and provides feedback for professional development.
• Precepts staff as needed and coordinates care with multidiscipline teams.
