Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit and carries out orders placed by the provider responsible for the patient’s medical care.
• Completes all net learning modules within timeframe identified.
• Participates in quality initiatives and performance improvement to improve patient outcomes.
• Promotes a culture of well-being and a positive department atmosphere.
• Identifies and assists in correction of patient care safety issues.
• Collaborates with nurses in other department/units to draw upon expertise in other clinical areas/specialties.
• Serves as preceptor for new nurses.
• Participates in DNV survey readiness.
