Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking experienced Resource Pool RNs to float across inpatient units. The role offers 36-hour weeks, a 10% float differential, and coverage across days, nights, weekends and holidays, with opportunities for cross-training into specialty units.

RNs must hold an active RN license, have at least 1 year of RN experience, and obtain BLS certification. BSN is required by 4/27/2025 or within four years of hire if less experienced.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must transfer within 60 days of start.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• Willingness to float across multiple units.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• BSN required within four years if experience <12 months.
• BSN must be from an accredited institution and will be verified.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care across inpatient units.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Adapt quickly to different units, patient populations, and acuity levels.
• Collaborate with physicians, care managers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation per regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families to promote recovery and safe transitions.
• Uphold nursing standards of professional and ethical conduct.
