Job summary

Mercy South Float Pool RN position seeks a dynamic nurse to provide care across Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, ED, and more. You will participate in scheduling, wear many hats, and help maintain patient safety with teammates across units.

This role offers PRN hours, 12-hour or 8-hour shifts, with tiered and additional shift differentials and day-one benefits, including health coverage and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2 years of bedside RN experience.
• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred).
• License: Current RN license in the state.
• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association.
• Physical requirements: Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly; prolonged standing and walking; reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across multiple units within Mercy South Float Pool.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Assess, communicate, and collaborate to ensure safe, effective, compassionate care across shifts.
