Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dynamic RN to join the South Float Pool. This PRN role offers 12-hour shifts (7am–7pm or 7pm–7am) and 8-hour evening shifts (3pm–11pm). You will float to Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, ED, and more, supporting multiple units with flexible scheduling and competitive pay differentials.

Requirements include 1–2 years of bedside RN experience, a nursing degree (BSN preferred), and an active RN license with BLS. Benefits start day one with health, PTO, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bedside RN experience required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the state is required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients using Mercy Nursing Practice Model.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Float across units to support Med/Surg, ICU, ED, and more.
