Job summary

Mercy South Float Pool is seeking a dynamic RN to provide care across multiple units, leveraging the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model. This PRN role requires a minimum of three shifts in a six-week period and offers flexible scheduling with 12-hour and 8-hour evening options.

Competitive pay with tiered differentials and additional shift bonuses supports growth across Med/Surg, ICU, and other units, including orientation time to ramp up.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2 years of bedside RN experience.
• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred).
• License: Current RN license in the state.
• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association.
• Physical requirements: Able to push/pull/lift 50 pounds, prolonged standing and walking, ability to reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model and nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Work across multiple units in the Mercy South Float Pool to expand clinical skills.
