Job summary

Mercy South is seeking an RN to join the Float Pool, providing care across Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, ED and more from a single roster. The PRN role requires a minimum of three shifts in a 6-week period, with orientation time at the start and flexibility for additional hours as needed.

Shifts include 12-hour and 8-hour options, with competitive tiered differentials by unit and time of day. Benefits start day one, including health, dental, vision, PTO, and tuition support.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bedside RN experience.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across multiple units using Mercy Nursing Practice Model.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Maintain patients' rights and confidentiality of information.
• Act in line with Mercy Service Standards and hospital policies.
