Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse for a float pool position at Needham Hospital. The role requires coverage across Medical-Surgical Telemetry floors and similar units, with 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.

We require an active RN license, at least 2 years in Medical-Surgical Telemetry, and current BLS; ACLS and a telemetry competency exam are also required. Orientation and biweekly guaranteed hours apply to this contract role.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Minimum 2 years Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience.
• Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• Documented professional development activities.
• Knowledge of critical paths; charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide float coverage across Medical-Surgical Telemetry floors and related units as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and quality care across shifts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuous patient flow.
