Job summary

Plymouth Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the float pool for medical-surgical telemetry. The role requires floating to relevant floors as needed and completing onboarding tests with a single attempt allowed.

Candidates must pass ECG/Telemetry and medications tests, with an 85% passing score required and no remediation. Biweekly guaranteed hours include night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical telemetry experience.
• Ability to pass the telemetry competency exam.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification is required.
• Documented professional development activities.
• Knowledge of critical paths.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float to medical-surgical telemetry floors as needed.
• Pass/Fail ECG/Telemetry test and medications test during onboarding with one attempt allowed.
• Tests (ECG/Telemetry, medications) conducted remotely via Zoom prior to assignment.
• Float to similar units and overflow areas as needed.
