Job summary

Healthforce seeks a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Needham, MA, on a Med Surg Telemetry unit with float responsibilities. Expect 12-hour rotating shifts and a start date of October 12, 2026.

Provide direct care for adult Med/Surg telemetry patients, monitor readings, administer meds, and document in the EHR. Requires MA RN license, 2+ years Telemetry, ACLS/BLS, and willingness to float as needed.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Massachusetts RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Able to pass Telemetry competency exam during onboarding.
• Willingness to float to other MS Tele floors.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Monitor telemetry readings, interpret rhythms, and respond to dysrhythmias promptly
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy per physician orders and hospital protocol
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, document in the electronic health record, and update care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, case management, and other team members to coordinate patient care
• Float to related MS Tele floors and overflow areas as needed to support patient throughput and bed placement
