Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring a Travel RN for Med/Surg Telemetry in Needham, MA. This 13-week assignment runs 36 hours per week with a 7:00 PM–7:30 AM rotating schedule and includes weekend/holiday coverage.

Requirements include a MA RN license, a minimum of 2 years in Med/Surg Telemetry, and active BLS and ACLS certifications. Candidates must pass telemetry, ECG, and medications tests during onboarding and be ready to float to related units as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience.
• Current BLS certification through AHA.
• Current ACLS certification through AHA required.
• Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam.
• Must pass ECG/Telemetry and Medications tests during onboarding with an 85% passing score.
• Documented professional developmental activities and knowledge of critical paths required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Med/Surg Telemetry unit and float to similar units as needed.
• Float to like units and overflow areas as required.
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts, 36 hours per week, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.
• Weekend and holiday coverage is expected.
