Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse for a float pool position at Needham Hospital. The role requires coverage across Medical-Surgical Telemetry floors and similar units, with 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.

We require an active RN license, at least 2 years in Medical-Surgical Telemetry, and current BLS; ACLS and a telemetry competency exam are also required. Orientation and biweekly guaranteed hours apply to this contract role.

Registered Nurse - Float Pool Position

Position Details

Contract guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly on all assignments – guaranteed hours exclude any on-call time worked.

Shift

12-hour rotating shifts with weekends and holidays expected.

Role Description

This is a float pool position requiring coverage across all Medical-Surgical Telemetry floors as needed. The nurse will also be expected to float to similar units and overflow areas.

Testing and Onboarding

Pass/fail ECG/Telemetry and Medications tests are required during onboarding, with only one attempt allowed to pass.

Tests are administered remotely via Zoom Protector meeting prior to assignment.

RNs must complete testing within 48 hours of offer.

An 85% passing score is required; no remediation or retake opportunities are provided.

Preparation is strongly recommended using the provided study guide, which includes tips and answers.

Minimum Requirements
