Job summary

Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our CRU Float Pool. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, 7am–7pm with self-scheduling, and weekend/holiday obligations; weekender program available for $11/hr.

CRU nurses work across inpatient departments, gaining exposure to cardiac, step-down, medical, surgical, and acute rehabilitation populations while expanding clinical judgment and adaptability in a Magnet-designated environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication to lead efforts for the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
