Job summary

Atrium Health Cleveland - Nursing Float Pool is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support weekend and night shifts in multiple units within the Cleveland service area. The RN will apply evidence-based practices, coordinate with the care team, and ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

The role requires a BSN (preferred) and an active RN license, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where services are provided.
BLS certification required or appropriate.

Responsibilities

Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care, engaging patients and families.
Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
Maintains culture of safety and compliance with professional standards.
May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
Communicates effectively and delegates appropriately within the team.
