Job summary

Atrium Health Cleveland Nursing Float Pool seeks a part-time Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. You will participate in governance, utilize the nursing process, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across units.

The role requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience, RN licensure, and BLS certification, with weekends and night shifts included in a 24-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing education program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Active RN license with state privileges.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, mobilize resources, and collaborate with the care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety.
• Evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes and take action as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
• Communicate effectively, provide feedback, and resolve conflicts to foster teamwork.
• Pursue professional development and maintain certifications.
• Adhere to ANA Code of Ethics for ethical patient care.
• Delegate to RNs, LPNs, and unlicensed personnel as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units within the service area.
• Must assess age-specific patient needs and growth and development.
