Job summary

UP Health System - Marquette is seeking a Float Pool RN to join our staffing pool, covering Med/Surg, Neuro/Ortho/Peds, Rehab, and Cardiac units. Night shifts from 7p to 7a with rotating weekends and holidays offer a sign-on bonus for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan-of-care interventions including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Documents care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assists with activities of daily living (hygiene, nutrition, ambulation).
• Float across departments to support staff and patient care.
• Collaborates with disciplines to coordinate transfers, discharges, and referrals.

Education

Associate's degree in Nursing

Bachelor's degree preferred
