UP Health System - Marquette is seeking a Cardiac RN to join our team in Marquette, Michigan. This 0.9 FTE position covers 7p-7a with rotating weekends and holidays, offering a $7,500 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing program (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• BLS Health Care Provider certification.
• ACLS certification within 1 year.
• IMCU cross-training within 1 year.
• TNCC within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care including medications, specimens, and treatments.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Collaborates across disciplines for transfers, discharge, referrals and support needs.
• Provides patient/family education appropriate to age and culture.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
